Seven arms raise a a collection of makeshift white flags. Towels, underwear, tablecloth … anything can serve as the sign to say: I am present, (my) life is precious, do not threaten it because in the end there is no opposition between you, me and the universe.
Part of the installation is a row of 80 press photo’s of a century of civilians crossing a street with a white flag.
