Like the shed skin of a snake, 5 sheaths of a human figure float just above the ground. They are transparent and open, the old fishing nets refer to the connection between people and water. After all, if the skin was not in between, we would be merging with all the other water bodies on Earth. The sea, the rivers, the rain, the plants, the animals. The skin is a temporary dividing line, absorbing air, light and moisture. I embroidered water reflections on these cocoons. A reference to the wonderful figures that draw light, shadow and movement on water. As lifeĀ itself they always looks different, elusive and changeable.
