These bamboo needles, covered with scraps of old fabrics, are a tribute to the women who patiently and meticulously spinned, wove and sew silk threads into mesmerizing patterns in many shades of blue. We can only look through the eye of the needle and guess at what was lost and what can be gained of their memory.
