A landart piece installed among the bamboo of La Bambouseraie this work plays with both the straight nature of the stalks and the sinuous illusion of a bamboo network. The material’s flexibility is obviously not natural: the various fragments are carefully assembled into a rather wild structure. The ceramic pots mark the starting point of each bent piece from the ground, while the connectors indicate possible links. This artistic approach includes a referential aspect, rooted in a more mundane reality: that of pipelines transporting oil or gas across vast expanses while surreptitiously infiltrating the landscape. The installation, which operates on the theme of networks, fluids, and flows, remains both symbolic and highly topical, while the blue, a color with very positive connotations in many civilizations magnetically attracts the eye.
