Imago Insecta is a project of Zest Artist Collective_(ZAC), carried out for Dak’art Biennale, Senegal. The six ZAC artists immersed themselves in the parallel reality of the world of insects by engaging empathetic and ecocentric dialogues with particular species of insects native to their country. In using various mind mapping techniques they generated hypothetical images and sculptures. Curator: Ousseynou Wade.
