Surprises of the ocean can take any form. In this field near the coast I chose the shape of a submarine, coming to the surface rather out of place. It is surrounded by other, not too uncommon surprises the sea may bring us: a dozen red oil barrels. The installation evoques simple but poignant questions. What are these objects doing here?
