Wayfarers

Wayfaring strangers is an installation in the dunes of Ameland (one of the Dutch islands). The installation consists of materials that are washed ashore. Lost nets, containers and ropes brought back by the sea. From nearby the debris of our society can be clearly seen, but as an installation the group is recognizable as human beings. In rags, in exotic clothes, they look different from us but also very much the same. All having their origin in nature.
