At first glance the installation on a dirty pond may seem a reference to carelessly left behind packaging, a shadow of the consumer culture. But the barrels in the installation are also a symbol of what we want to hold and keep. Because nothing lasts forever, even the memories cast in solid blue, will change over time into an openwork, transparent structure. Like lace or the veins of a tree leaf, they are a tender reflection in the water.
